From humble beginnings in a Chicago loft in 1981, Lee Weitzman Furniture has
steadily built a reputation around the world for high quality products and personalized
service. Lee Weitzman first marketed his designs at reputable craft expositions,
including the Philadelphia Craft Show, sponsored by the Philadelphia Museum of
Art, and the Washington Craft show at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
Through participation in the shows, Weitzman began to develop a national clientele.
Gallery shows in Chicago soon followed, leading to long-term representation in
Chicago's Merchandise Mart and eventually showrooms in major cities throughout the
United States.
