To order an original piece of Lee Weitzman Furniture, simply contact your local representative or our office by phone or email so we can speak with you directly about what
it is you are looking for. This way we can understand your needs and best advise you regarding your
choices. We may even suggest a concept or approach that you may not have considered or thought
possible.
Ordering from Lee Weitzman Furniture generally falls within the following three main categories:
- Custom Orders. On a regular custom order we duplicate an existing catalogue piece exactly as shown
on our website or with slight modifications. In most cases we can make custom variations to these
existing designs, such as the use of different materials, application of different finishes, and alternative
dimensions and functions. You can browse our furniture portfolio and

- Commissions. We consider a commissioned piece to be any brand new design based on your needs
and tastes, that we create as the result of our collaboration with you. Commissioning a new design is a
great way for you to get what you cannot find anywhere else. We have over 25 years of experience in
designing custom furniture to meet the specific needs or our clients. Most furniture companies are not
set up to be as flexible and only offer standard pieces. In contrast, Lee Weitzman Furniture creates every
piece to order, so that you can get exactly what it is that you need. Learn more about this process on our

- Existing floor samples. Our floor samples are usually priced lower than they would be if brand new
and made to order. In many cases the design has simply evolved from when it was first introduced, so
the floor model no longer represents the most current design. Otherwise, in order to keep our displays
new, we need to sell our floor samples to make room for new ones. See what is Available Now!
Lead Time
Our lead time for the completion of a custom order is typically about 12-16 weeks from the receipt of
approved drawings and finish samples. Production time varies depending on scope of the project and order
volume. High build closed grain finishes require about four additional weeks to ensure proper curing time.
Upholstery orders
All of our upholstered seating [link to seating thumbnails] is offered "COM" (customer’s own material). This
enables you to select virtually any upholstery fabric or leather available in the marketplace. We can provide
material requirements in a price quote. Please note that patterned fabric will require additional yardage to
ensure pattern matching.
Shipping
We ship our furniture to all points of the globe. For most long distance shipments, we prefer to ship our
furniture in custom built crates. We pre-wrap the furniture in clean white foam and/or bubble wrap, and build
custom reinforced plywood crates. The crate is shipped to a receiving warehouse where it can be unpacked
and delivered to its final destination. For local deliveries, we can arrange a "white glove" or "blanket wrap"
delivery: the completed piece of furniture is pre-wrapped in white foam, then covered in moving blankets,
transported in a box truck, and delivered into your home or business. All packing, shipping and delivery
costs are determined separately and are not included in the price of the furniture.
